As I mentioned before in another forum I have been asked to expand the number of countries covered on this site to cover more of SE Asia. When I asked what countries, the suggestion came back to do a "rest of se asia" forum, but for several reasons I did not want to do that, but understood the reasons. So I have started with this, the Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos travel forum as a lot of people seemed to be asking questions about these more than other areas.

If it starts to take off, I will then add the Rest of Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia forum and maybe at some stage Burma and maybe India (is India in SE Asia? - The Indonesian Govt says it is but I don't trust them at all!).

Anyway, if anyone has been to former Indochina and got a few seconds, maybe they could kick things off with a general posting about the stuff they think is worthwhile there?

If it really takes off, I will eventually separate the three onto separate forums. I do not like adding tons of extra forums as I once experimented with just this on another forum and it did not work (it affected how well the previously busy forums performed). Anyway, I never did got to Vietnam, Cambodia or Laos even though I lived in Thailand for 4 years and loved Vietnamese food, shame on me!
