We want to book a nice hotel upon arrival into Bagkok, to recover from the Jetlag.

Then do a little hardcore backpacking, 200-1500b and we want to stay in a nice hut (1500-3000) for the last few days.

Any suggestions?

Is it rude to ask to see the huts/rooms before booking? Or is that customary?
