Marriott Again, these are my thoughts only. But my husband parents stayed at the Marriott. The lobby area is beautiful and it's in a great location. But the pool is quite small for the size of hotel. If you like to lounge by the pool, there can be a shortage of beds. Also, I thought the rooms were a bit small and bathrooms on the old side.
(Based on visiting the hotel 2004).
Another good side to check out is Ken Diamond for information on Hua Hin.
We did a side trip while in Hua Hin to Kanchanburi and did the River Kwai thing. Not a bad run from Hua Hin to this area. We stayed the night there, but said we would do it again but stay an extra night. There is a lot to see in Kanchanburi.
Good Luck. Half the fun of going to Thailand is all the planning and research.
We are off on 20th July. Heading to Malaysia first for 11 nights (KL and Langkawi), then Pattaya for a month. CAN'T WAIT ................... |
