Hello everyone, well, a friend of mine phoned the little creek and was told the resort closed down. On Kanchanaburi Thailande however you seem still to be able to make an online booking so I would not jump to any conclusions yet but it doesn´t look good to me. The website is down, a bad sign, and it would not be a surprise to me if Little Creek went bankrupt as it was badly managed and losing money. Last time I was there the owners had built a new fun park in the tourist center on the riverside, which was a total failure and never even opened, as I have heard. I walked the site myself which looked ghostly and ridiculous.

The Little Creek however was a beautiful place. It had a steady stream of guests too, and surely with reduced staff , some changes, a different location for the ant ridden restaurant area for example, and new management it would be a cash maker. Its closure is a real disaster. It was the only cheap resort away from the noisy river and unique in its style. Anybody interested in re starting it up as partner with me? Lots of dutch people run successful guesthouses and resorts in Asia and I am sure it will be a tremendous success with the right partners. Interested? Send me an email !
