We took our our food on the outward bound flight MEL-DPS and we were all given a small bottle of water. However, on the return flight from DPS-MEL we were given nothing. Honest, I'm pretty tolerant when it comes to airline food and can eat most of it without comment... but this was the worst food I have ever been served and it was absolutely dreadful
Just be mindful of if you order 'video on demand' that you book it for both ways and it's wasted on the return journey as it's a night flight. There is a drop down screen and movies shown in the cabin and ear thingys are given out free of charge which you get to keep.
When I booked online I accidentally booked the 'video on demand' don't ask me how I did it... but I did. So be careful you don't book what you don't want.
