Hello, Sambo
I think you spend 1 – 2 days in Ho Chi Minh that enough to explore it . You should visit Opera House, Ben Thanh Market, Thien Hau Temple, War Crimes Museum.

But nearby Ho Chi Minh, there are a lot of “can’t be missed” destinations

- The Mekong delta (from Saigon (70 km).Being a very rich, beautiful and lush area, Mekong Delta is the southern most region of Vietnam end of the Mekong River.I suggest you spend 3 days/2 night in there . You can stay on local house (home – stay) that’s very interesting and valiable experience.

- I hightly recommend you go to Phu Quoc – I’ve been there with my family. That’s Emerald Island, with fine beaches and clear blue sea, strips of sand worth exploring . That’s wonderful places for picnics, paddling, snorkeling or fishing and lying on beaches.
