I too am a member and have been for a number of years, the FREE night is done on allocation, it cleary states that in the terms and when the lady sold it to me. to book a night in a Sofitel you need to book in advance, it just makes sense, free nights in these types of hotels go quicker than in an Ibis!!!. I have had a few times where I have had to change my booking but as a whole the experience is great, I get at least 10% off wotif, lastminute.com without fail. If I have any dramas I call their help line and they assist. You guys just need to understand how to use the product to get value. I am sure leaving it in your draw at work for 10 months of the year is not the way it is designed to gain maximum useage, dining discounts etc. it is like having a gym membership for 12 months not using it and saying can i get another 12 months free because I was to lazy to go. Great value if you understand how to use it folks
