Yes I think you would need at least 3 d2n(I was there for 4D3N) at Kanchanaburi to see many sights.(Good times travel is a good agency.) It is a good peacefull getaway from busy bangkok. I stayed at the peaceful and scenic resotel on the river kwai and absolutely loved the peace and the nature around. I enjoyed siting outside in the mornings enjoying the cool mountain air. If you want some peace and quiet from bangkok this is the place to go.
