we stayed in the centara and walked down to warorot area to see the parade it was fabulous. However, we were on the 12.30 flight out of CM so had to take a taxi to the airport, and the streets were really clogged up with cars!

So, you need to be able to get around by foot. Anywhere from the night market to the old city will work.
