Last Songkran here in Khon Kaen it was 3 days, starting mid-morning and going until about 9PM. Every single street was blocked with traffic. I had to go out for a meal and it took hours. I hate bloody Songkran.

When I was stuck in the traffic jam I watched this old man pushing his cart down the street, he had the coal fire and sold "Kai Ping" (BBQ eggs) and I watched these ****&%$# throwing water at him, all laughing their asinine faces off. It wouldn't occur to them that this old man can't sell wet eggs and if he don't sell eggs he don't make any money for 3 days and can't eat for 3 days.
