King Power has been the victim of theft and you advise people to stay away from them? If someone stole from you, would you advise the police and expect them to deal with it? It is how that this case has been dealt with by the police that is in question, not the ethics of King Power and even this is still heresay. Your advice should be "Do not steal anything from King Power Duty Free"
The letter in question and the issue was that King Power were setting up tourists by dropping single packets of cigarettes into customers bags without thier knowledge and then accusing them of theft. A financial arrangement would have to be made or bribe, spot fine. This was the scam in question and the scam was being carried out by employee's of KING POWER.

THAT WAS THE WARNING AND THE WARNING IS STAY AWAY FROM KING POWER AND FOR THAT MATTER DUTY FREE IN THAILAND. WALK ON BY.
