Sorry I don't have time in the near future to read everything you've cut & pasted here but I've scimmed it and a couple of points jump out:

It's a pity you don't have ten minutes to spare Bob,as it is a very serious subject in my opinion.I do accept the Thai Government and Thai custom and practice have over years condoned this movement of children into the sex trade.I also realise Thailand make many millions both directly and indirectly from child prostitutes and the sex trade in general.But you say the girls you see in Phucket, Pataya etc are all there through choice,I am saying they have no choice they are semi literate and go into prostitution for the money,they are not able to aquire decent jobs and be gainfully employed in the way most girls in Europe are.The foriegn currency earned runs into billions,so according to you the Thai's must go and change their Baht into foriegn currency before spending it on prostitutes.In 1998 Thailands sex trade was a 4 billion dollar industry,trade was increasing at an astounding rate.so where do you suppose the increase in trade might have come from?I think you will find Bob western male tourists are responsible for the increase in the sex trade industry in Thailand.We have had one such person asking for information on here the other day,it went something like "where can I safely find adult entertainment in Phucket,he goes on to say he is looking for a cool evening.That was on this forum two days ago.What do you suppose he was after?
