During the green season (now-Oct), it is all pretty quiet on Lanta, but still great restaurants the odd bar opened. I have only been there during thus time. At peak season I could imagion it would get pretty lively, with lots happening. As for the kids there is the Elephant treks, days out snorkelling and the fun that you make yourself.
